About me

I'm Gregor Rakar, student of Faculty for civil engineering an geodesy in Ljubljana in Slovenia; I'm now in second year. I was born January 26, 1978, my home is near Trebnje (Dolenjska region). However between study I live in Ljubljana.

I have my hobbies, which are Internet + computer, astronomy and astronautic, modelling (modern planes). I like to travel, however I do nearly not have time, but if I do have time, then there is no money.

My favorite music is heavy metal (Nirvana, Metallica, Faith No More, ...), rock (Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode...), but I also like to listen music from eightees and some classical music (like On Blue Danube from Strauss). But I hate techno, rave (Prodigy is exception), and music of type Spice Girls, CITA, Kelly Family and other crap.

Of course I also like movies, especially SF and catastrophical and good action, thriller, comedy. My best movies are Pulp Fiction, Odissey 2001, Starwars, Titanic, Naked Gun 1-3, James Bond 007 and many others. I like to play games, too. Some of them: Quake (especially deathmatch), The Need for Speed 1, Wing Commanders, Transport Tycoon etc.

I occupy with astronomy very long tima, since I have my own telescope (isn't any special). Most of this site is dedicated to astronomy. I like also to make models of spacecraft, but I do not have time for them and it is also more difficult to find components as for ordinary planes.

With sports I do not occupy myself very much, but still; I very like skiing (if there snow is), swimming and cycling (not too much). I like nature, especially snowy land and early spring.

My favourite food are macaroni and apple strudle, favorite drink is beer.
