Description:
The song Hero is on of Mariah's most loved songs. The single includes the song 'Everything Fades Away', which appeared only on Euro version of Music Box. When the Hero single was released (it also reached #1) Sly Stone's, a 70s funk star, body guard Christopher Silletti claimed Mariah has stolen the song from him. At that time Mariah donated the money from the sales to the victims of some shootings. After a long court process Mariah won the lawsuit in June of 1997. Sly's bodyguard had to pay Mariah $5,000.
In November 1997 she has also donated the live version of the song 'Hero' for the Tribute Album for Princess Diana...
