Well, after a couple months of checking out
boats on the web, at boat shows, and by word of mouth my family
finally decided on the Bayliner Capri 1950. This is a bang for
the buck boat. Let me tell you it sure is sharp
We took it on the lake and it is great. I wasn't too impressed
when I heard it had a 3.0, but when we put the throttle down it
wasn't too bad. It got up to about 37 mph with five adults in it.
It takes off with ease and rides great. This should be a
sufficient engine size for skiing, knee-boarding, and tubing.
If you get a chance visit your area Bayliner dealer and check one
out in person for yourself. They have made many changes since the
eighties. They have a nice unit now.
