Greg Williams is a natural entertainer who loves to establish a rapport with a diverse range of audiences, wherever he performs, all over Australia.

Drawing on his invaluable experience as a performer, Greg can usually "suss out" what an audience wants to hear. His selection of popular songs from many styles and eras, and the ability to communicate with his audience makes him a "crowd-pleaser".

Greg believes in being versatile, and has a repertoire that really stretches to accommodate most audience requests. He also combines wireless equipment (which allows close contact with audiences) and sophisticated computer-based programming, with live acoustic guitar playing, and singing through state of the art sound equipment.

As a professional entertainer with more than 20 years musical experience, a recording artist and award-winning song-writer, Greg Williams music is being played all over Australia on radio and television, and consequently he travels extensively to follow up on this airplay.

BIOGRAPHY  :  Greg Williams

is a Professional Singer/Entertainer, Recording Artist and Award-winning Songwriter.

Greg travels Australia extensively performing at a variety of Venues and Festivals, promoting his latest album “Its About Time”, which has enjoyed wide-spread airplay, and latest single from the first T.S.A. CD- “Red Hot Momma”. He performs from Townsville to Tassie, and anywhere in between.

Originally from North Queensland, and with Country “roots” from a 12 year stint as a farmer, and playing music prior to this all over Queensland, Greg has lived in Tamworth – Country Music Capital since 1993.

Januarys Tamworth Country Music Festival has kept Greg busy every year since his first appearance in 1991, at Joe Maguire's Pub, performing over the years at venues including: Tamworth R.S.L., Services Club, West's Leagues, Workmen's Club, Good Companions Hotel (6 consecutive years), The Pub, The Oasis & many more.

Greg satisfies his desire to nurture undiscovered talent by hosting the long-running Kmart  “Jazzer Smith” Memorial Talent Quest, since 1995, and more recently by close involvement with the Capital Country Music Association- the organisation which started Tamworth's CM Festival over 30 years ago. At Tamworth 2000 Greg staged 2 successful concerts:- “Young Country Stars” and “Winners & Grinners” at THE rising venue The Pub.

Since the popular & prestigious Tamworth Country Theatre Concerts started in 1997, Greg has appeared 3 times in his own right, and once each (in cameo roles) singing duets with other Country Stars - Christina George, The Crosby Sisters (on their hit songs), and harmonising with Darcy Le Year.

Many will remember the success of his band - “Roadhouse Band” - and touring with Whiteline and City Slickers in the early 90’s, before directing his energies into his solo career more recently.

As well as his previous two album recordings, Greg recorded in 1999 at Lindsay Butler Studios his new single “Red Hot Momma”, a multi-award winning Greg Williams original, now released on the inaugural Tamworth Songwriter Association Compilation Promotional CD, one of 12 original tracks, selected from a strong field of over 300 songs.

Greg also organises Coach Tours to Tamworth for entertainment packages, in conjunction with Radio stations and Country Music Clubs, based  on Tamworth's Country Entertainment reputation.

Greg Williams believes in giving entertainment value to his audience. The proof of this is in the longevity of his involvement in the entertainment industry. GREG WILLIAMS is a well-rounded experienced performer and a name that is here to stay!

In fact, he's a "natural".
