The Drive Scroll screen saver directly displays the raw data from a disk drive as a scrolling image or video. The data is copied to the frame buffer without interpretation, conversion, or processing in any way.

Last tested July 2008 on WinXP(SP3). Works fine, copy DriveScroll.scr into /windows (not /windows/system) and it will automatically be recognized as one of the installed screensavers. Note that Windows will complain about copying the screensaver file into /windows, but all screensaver installers do this. You are just asked to do it manually here.

[Some older versions of XP will still look for .scr files in /windows/system.]
