It all started around the summer of 98. We were three kids just dreaming of being in a band and making it big. Greg picked up guitar quickly. The same thing with Jake and his bass. Kyle had drums but wanted new ones, so he got a nice set on his birthday. Kyle was our original band member, but we kicked him out and got a new one because he had a bad attitude. We got another drummer, who unfortunately left us to be in "Shame On You" ,but we really didnt like him anyways. So we took Kyle back due to his attitude adjustment. We started on nothing, and made something. Even before we played instruments, we were busy writing lyrics. So don't say anything about our lyrics being immature or anything else or else the Grizz will take care of ya, lay off, we were young and immature when we wrote them. Our album title is about when we were at a dance and no girls came and it was just us 3, so we had "No Hope". The Band name comes from something I was saying about united we stand, divided we fall, and Jakes like how bout divided we stand for our band name. Then like a day later we heard it on Ren & Stimpy, so we just stuck with it. We later found out Divided We Stand Was a 30 Foot Fall song. |
