Review

You can purchase this title at RACSAll right, you probably don't need me to tell you this but, this was a really cool movie. The music, the plot, the animation, and the Cowboy Bebop formula all add up to an exceptional film. What's great about The Movie is that it seems only like an extra long episode, the creators didn't try changing the characters and how they act together and with others. The extra length was used to have a deeper story, more developed fight-scenes, and extra kick-ass animation. So as usual Spike is thrashed to near death, Faye is caught in situations that heighten her sexiness, Jet worries and spouts intellectual arguments, Ed prances and dances, and Ein just continues to be the silent genius. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is well worth it's $19.95 MSRP, so go buy it.

Dialog:
Wonderfully scripted there isn't a boring bit to it. The American dub keeps the same cast as the series, Steven Blum as Spike Spiegel, Wendee Lee as Faye Valentine, Beau Billingslea as Jet Black, and Melissa Fahn and Edward.

Extras:
If you're into extras that come on some DVD's than you're in luck. There are six featurettes where we get to see the Japanese and American staff of The Movie talk about a range of Bebop facts and thoughts. The are some great scene to storyboard comparisons and the conceptual art galleries were pretty interesting.
