Welcome to the GSF Clan website. German Special Forces is a Half Life clan for a World War II mod called Day of Defeat. Our clan is dedicated to bringing skilled players together, and combining tactical gameplay to create a dedicated team of soldiers. Our clan is Axis based, so if you like to play as Allies, this clan is not for you. Our man idea is to play smart, yet have fun doing it. One day, if our clan grows large enough, and our members are dedicated, we hope to become feared among all other clans.

NEWEST!-Finally, the screenshots are up, and we now have a forum. I am working on our individual members profile pages as well. I also plan to make a page with all of the images of the axis weapons, from the axis class selection screen on DoD. Also there is a very important message on the forum regarding Gamespy Arcade and It's use in our clan. I have a TeamSpeak 2 server set up as well, so want to comunicate via microphone in a large group you can download teamspeak, and connect to our server. More info will be posted on the forums. Once the site is done temporarily, i hope to get the tournement in order and recruit some more members. Lastly i just want to say that i MIGHT move the site once more to freewebs.com, and see what their hosting is like. Tripod has too many advertisements, and Geocities keeps shutting down the site for one hour periods because of too many files or something. I will post more info on the forums. Also note that any important clan notices in the future will be posted on the forums. Except maybe, the extremely important ones, that will be posted on this page.

NEWEST!-Once we have recruited 8 members, and I have all of their profile pages done, and I finish the screenshots page, and the clan is organized I plan to organize a GSF tourney. We will most likely play on a Kalt server, or I will try to find a sever that is not too busy that has a full map cycle. We will play for 2 hours and keep track of our scores. The highest score overall will be given a medal. There will also be a "most flags" medal and a "most kills" medal. Maybe even a best kill:death medal, who knows. Anyways i do not yet have a date set, but it will most likely be on a Saturday. I will let you know more info once we have 8 members and once I work out a date that suits everyone.

NEW!-I will be doing constant updates to the site, as my knowlege of HTML and Javascript increases. I plan to add a screenshots page, so that you all can send me your screenies and i will post them on the site. I am also going to make a small, individual profile page for each member. This page will tell a bit of personal info, you can send me a picture (doesn't have to be you, can be anything) if u want it posted. And this page will also display favorite weapons, maps, etc. I hope to add more images on the site and make it more colourful, user friendly and interactive.

NEW!- I have decided that you do not have to use your rank tag when you are playing in a game. You must use the -=GSF=- tag before your name, but the rank tag is optional. Also. If you decide to use the rank tag please use the square brackets [...] and put a perdiod after your rank. ex. [Gen.] That is all for now!

We are an Axis based clan, so if several (4 or more) of us are together, we will ban together and crush the allies. If there is less than 6 members on a server, you do not have to play as Axis unless you want to.
