| Vixen (reg. name: Jackies Shady Vixen) is a 1989 mare by Shady Charley Lane, a son of Western Otoe (1978 AQHA Supreme Champion, 20 halter pts., 19 performance pts., and racing earnings of $10,110 with an SI of 95). Vixen is out of Hi Easy Jackie, who is by Impressive Rick, a stallion by Impressive and out of Rick'll Do (112 halter pts., 18 performance pts., AQHA Open Champ. in 1971). Hi Easy Jackie goes back to Jackie Bee on the dam's side. (Top picture taken 2001 at 12 years old--bottom picture taken at 19 years old.) Vixen had her first and only foal on April 21, 2004. He's a colt by Royal King Dawson. See the pictures of Shamrock at 2 years old and 6 years old below. Shamrock was euthanized on July 17, 2008, after a severe leg injury. |

| LEFT: Smart Hickory Mate, "Ace," is a registered dun Quarter Horse that we purchased from Reid Green. He has some excellent breeding to become a working cow horse. We are currently training him and hope that he will become our son's horse. RIGHT: Tinto Rosa, "Cricket," is a registered gray Quarter Horse purchased in Moline, KS. She is currently under training with Reid Green as a working cow horse. |
