| Outs are recorded when any of the following apply |
| A fly ball is caught |
| A ball is caught off of a fence or out of a tree |
| A ball is fielded cleanly on the grass before it stops rolling. If theball is bobbled and touched any object it is not an out |
| A pitch hits a dove and it explodes leaving a feather mess and the neighbor's eight year old screaming in terror. (If this actually occurs, the defending team will bat regardless of the number of outs |
