By The Return of Taconator, as authorized by JD. Yes its authorized. We had e-mail coresepondence about this. on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 - 06:41 pm:

Previously, on Archangel...

"The other Blue Fugate ships are retreating sir!" Keith cheered. Greymoran smiled. "Excellent. Inform Ahz that he can gather up the escapees as soon as we've taken the sta-" The station blew apart in a blinding burst of light. Greymoran and the other son the bridge, except for Hudzen, were quick to turn away and cover their eyes. They turned around. Jackson saw the light begin to form a man shaped being energy, larger than the station itself. His jaw dropped. He knew that shape.

"FREE AT LAST! That acursed puzzle broke weeks ago! Now I shall have my revenge!"

Jackson turned to the other crew memebers who were looking at him, silently demanding an answer. But all Jackson could say was, "We're so ****ed."

And now, the continuation...

Greymoran turned to face Jackson. "What is that thing?" Jackson didn't say a thing. The beign of energy opened a portla, and, dragging, all the Blue Fuagte ships in the area with it, disappeared. Keith stood up shaking. "Si-sir, that thing, with those ships? It wnet to LICC universe."

Aboard the Space Marshall base, Kiehrat's fighter was finally getting refueled. He waited impatiently ina waiting room, reading an outdated magazine, when alarams began blaring all over the place. A voice boomed all over the base. "WARNING: We have unidentified ships incoming, weapons powered, followed by some energy mass. Energy levels are off the scale! All hands to battle stations!" Kiehart suddnely had an image flash across his eyes. "Oh no." he muttered, bolting for his fighter.

By Jackson Dupree on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 - 09:52 pm:

Sir, we have to go to the LICC universe to stop him...
That was Taconator, a dimensional counterpart of myself... quite evil, and quite insane.
We need to inform the Spidership that Taconator is headed their way... and is looking for revenge...

By Captain Tacoman, continuing to call the ship on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 - 09:53 pm:

Tacoman to Acting Captain Rikard, can you hear me?

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 - 10:06 pm:

Greymoran nods. "No kiddin'" He's obviously in shock over the sight. He'd never seen anything like that in his life. Rita was shaking slightly. She turned to Keith. "Have you EVER seen anything that scary in your life?" Before Keith can answer, the Archangel is hailed by Captain Redding. "Greymoran sir, are we going to follow them?" Greymoran nodded. "Yes. Tell the Republic ships to get out of here, and hail Ahz on the Ryo-O. We'll go as soon as-" He suddenly stops. "We didn't get Carrie did we?" "Yes, we did." Ahz says from behind Greymoran. He's holding a small device in his hand. "She placed herself in a probe and launched it away from the station." Ahz plugs the device into the main computer. The crew cheers as her face appears on the viewscreen for the first time in days. "Hey dudes!" Gryemoran smiled. "Welcome back Carrie. I'd have baked you a cake, but we've got big problems." "Would it have to do with that energy creature?" Greymoran turned to Jackson. "Jackson can explain the situation. For the time being, take us to the LICC universe. We have to warn Captain Tacoman."

By Kiehart on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 - 10:08 pm:

"Kiehart to Spidership! Rikard I hope your listening, cause you are gonna love this. Taconator is attacking the Space Marshall base I was refueling at" Kiehart set the computer to repeat the message until a reply came in. "All right, Banshee, full power to all energy weapons. We can't do much to Taconator, but we can at least take on those ships he's got in front of him."

Garden of Unresolved Storylines is right! Taconator's return fits that criterion all right.

By Enesku on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 01:19 am:

I'll stay down here, I think.

By Jackson Dupree on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 07:13 am:

Well, the LICC faced Taconator and the crew of the Black Widow When we first entered the LICC dimension. We encountered an interdimensional mirror, which reflected our counterparts. Mine was Taconator, an insane android that loved to destroy tacos and cause general havoc. He entered our universe, caused his havoc, and eventually was trapped in the transporter buffer. He managed to get away, in mind, if not in body. When we ventured into the 64th century, we discovered that he was responsible for the war between the peoples of the black hole, and the rest of the galaxy. From what I heard, he was somewhat responsible for the Spidership II crashing on Earth. So basically, he's evil, mad, and willing to destroy anything in his path.
By the way, I got information reciently that the Spidership II's crash site is now a museum... Perhaps we can enter Earth's Orbit and we can visit it...

By Taconator on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 10:07 am:

Taconator's accomanying ships split forces, half keep the defenders busy, and half sweep down to the base to capture large fuel tanks. The fuel-laden ships return to the flagship, which opens fire on the Marshal base. The weapons power is too much for the station, and it explodes. The attacking Taconator ships regain the main group, and they jump into hyperspace, heading deep into the uncharted reaches of space.

By Jackson Dupree, going to face his past? on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 01:38 pm:

A purple wormhole appears in space around Earth and the Archangel exits it.
Sir, I'm reading a communication from... Captain Tacoman, calling for the Spidership. Should I beam up his away team and suprise him?

Greymoran: It's faster than waiting for the Spidership to show up. I just hope meeting him won't be too awkward for you.

Rita, muttering low enough that no one can ehar her: Oh great. Two of them.

Greymoran: Last update we got, my son got a new girlfriend. *smiles* I'd like the chance to embarrass him in front of my future dauhgter-in-law.

Keith: From what Jackson told me, I doubt the relationship will last that long.

Back on the Spidermobile

Hey Furbies, so everyone's back huh? Well, we were just following Kiehart's trail to a Space Marshal base, but I guess we could turn back and go to Earth, pick them up, then head back. How long would the round trip take, Ensign?
Martens: One hour and thirty minutes, round trip sir.
Rikard: Okay, I guess that base probably won't forget anything in an hour and a half. Set a course for Earth, pick them up when we get into transporter range, then resume the course for the base. Hopefully, they've seen Kiehart.

The Spidermobile flies back to Earth, beams the crew back up, and continues on its way.

By Captain Tacoman and Jackson Dupree, meeting each other on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 04:39 pm:

Tacoman and his away team appear in a transporter room. At the controls of the transporter is someone who looks like Tacoman, but with some differences
Welcome to the Archangel. I'm Jackson Dupree.
At this, Tacoman and Dupree look at each other with interest. Dupree's glance then wanders over to Butrfli
Tacoman: So, how's life with Greymoran?
Dupree: Doing pretty good. Lots of adventures and excitment. So, this must be Butrfli. One of your messages mentioned her.
Butrfli: Taco, who is this, and why does he look a lot like you? Is this your brother?
Tacoman: Actually, it's my clone, whome I sent to help Greymoran in his battle against evil. So why we aboard the Archangel?
Dupree: Well, the Spidership wasn't around, so I figured that we could take you to it. By the way, Taconator is back.
Tacoman: Taconator? But the last thing I heard, he was trapped in a magic bag...
Dupree: I guess he got out somehow. Can I show you all to the bridge? Looking at Tacoman I bet you would like to see Greymoran again.

"Kiehart to Spidership! Rikard I hope your listening, cause you are gonna love this. Taconator is attacking the Space Marshall base I was refueling at"

Rikard: What? Oh no. Helm, set a course for that base! Engage the transwarp. And if we don't have that, then maximum warp. I don't care how, just go!

Suddenly, strange, monotone voices with a slight electronic buzz to them speak....

Voice #1:It appears that we have arrived too late. Someone else is attacking the base.

Voice #2:Should we intervene, elmininate him, and assault the base ourselves?

Voice #1:No. It does not matter who destroys the base, just as long as it is destroyed!

By X-Over on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 04:54 pm:

Greymoran smiles as Tacoman, Butrfli, Commander Milkshake and the others enter the bridge. "Welcome aboard gentlemen!" he says to the others. he wlaks over and pats Taocman on the back. "Welcome aboard son." He turns to Butrfli, and kisse her hand. "So this is the lovely woman who's stolne my son's heart." he says jokingly. "A pleaseure to meet you as well." Greymoran intorduces the LICC members to the Arhcnagle crew. most of them had already met Keith of course. Greymoran takes his place in his captain's chair. "Rita, take us on an intercept course. Hail the Revanche and tell them to follow. We're going to catch up with the Spidership." Rita nods. Keith gets up from his station and walks over to Rita's pretending to be running a diagnostic check. He leans in and whispers, "Did you notice that little bit of tension between Jackson and Taocman? I get the feeling those two aren't very fond of each other." Rita nods. "I saw that too."

By Commander Milkshake on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 05:31 pm:

Captain, I need to have a word with you, in the Ready Room, regarding what I found on Earth.

By Captain Tacoman on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 05:51 pm:

Greymoran, may Milkshake and I use your ready room?
Greymoran: Be my guest.
Tacoman and Milkshake enter the ready room
Ok Steve. What's up?

By Commander Milkshake on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 06:07 pm:

Milkshake and Tacoman sit down, and talk.

I've told you about what happened after Praetorius apparently vaporized me, right?

Tacoman nods

Well, I haven't told you the full story. I was tired of dealing with bureaucratic nonsense while trying to find my parents. Nobody, not even their friends, knew what had happened to them. I was about to march straight into TerrSec headquarters when I got a call from the Marine Commandant, assigning me to help the cleanup of the remains of the O'kakian invasion. I was assigned to hazardous duty, and was sent down to the ocean floor straight below New Atlantis. Apparently there is some sort of O'kakian base on the seabed, right where Atlantis was lifted from the bottom of the sea. We got clearance to check inside, and what a sight it was! There was technology so alien, I'm sure that O'kak or Taconator ever got a hold of it. And inside the center of the underwater base, we found a piece of machinery that we couldn't find the purpose of. We were about to run some tests, when TerrSec busted in, and told us to get out. The leader of TerrSec, Admiral Strakvan, was there himself. He told us not to tell a soul about the base or what's inside. Needless to say, I didn't trust him, but I agreed. Soon after I was assigned to Orbital Defense, and I was given that beautiful modified TIE-Defender, as a bribe, I suppose.

Milkshake leans forward

Whatever is in that base is dangerous. The radiation readings were off the scale. I think TerrSec is covering this up for some reason. We need to find out what that thing really is!

By X-Over on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 06:17 pm:

Rita sighed as the two ships flew towards the location they'd determined the Spidership would be at. "The waiting is the worst part," she said to Keith. Keith nodded. "Too bad there's this whole Taconator thing going on. We never did get that tour." Rita laughed and playfully pucnhed Keith in the arm. "It's a differnt ship sweetie. haven't you been reading the updates? The one you were on crashed on Earth." Kieth shurgged. Greymoran left his chair and went towards the turbolift. Once he was inside he hailed Ahz. "Ahz, I'd like to speak with you. Specifically, about reforming the XDCA, with you as one of the new agents. We can't discuss training right now due to the Taconator situation, but, well, we'll discuss it once I'm in the lab."

-

Kiehart powered down his fighter, trying to conserve energy while waiting for the Spidership to show up. Just as he'd completed the power down process, a small pinpoint of light caught his attnetion. He squinted, trying to get a better look. As it drew closer, he realized with a smile on his face that the Spidership III was finally here. He began to power back up so they wouldn't miss him.

By Ojanon returns! on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 08:45 pm:

Suddenly, Ojanon re-appears on the spidership's bridge, along with a mysterious person dressed in black robes and white gloves and boots.

Greetings. It appears that we have arrived just in time. Apparently, it looks as if the you-know-what has the fan!

He notices that everyone looks curious about the person with him.

Ah, yes. My new candidate for the Lifeblood Sorcerors. I managed to find him in the nick of time. We barely escaped from some Knights of the Bloodstone Order and a couple of Sith agents who were after him, as well.

The cloaked candidate speaks...

Yes. When Ojanon told me the Lifeblood power flows through me, and explained things, I could hardly believe it! I had not been back on Earth long. Just a few days. After the Whyte Kastles incident, we got a little sidetracked. But, it is good to see you all again. Its been a while!

He reaches up and pulls back his hood. Everyone present who was there during the Whyte Kastles incident looks stunned. It is....Sgt. Milos Fortesky!!

6302 AD, Eco ship Terra, Maximum Security Prison

The Funky Horror silently moves to a corner and uses the eye in his hand to see what's there. Aztiram, his black cat locates the control center. The Funky Horror sends forth a psychic image of himself to sabotage the control center. Once that's done TFH quickly & silently moves toward the prisoner cells.
A guard, skilled in the neoninja arts, sneaks up on the intruder, and as he's about to strike, a freakishly strong, blue tentacle wraps around the guard's throat and renders him unconscious. TFH pulls out a weapon and without looking zaps the other hidden guards. Arriving at the section containing the captured X-CwX soldiers, TFH fires a laser beam from his eyes and vaporizes the wall. He enters, gathers up the prisoners, is quickly joined by Aztiram, then smiles a smile which warps the space/time continuum and vanishes while a chilling laugh echoes.

"Muhahahahahahahahaha..."

By Captain Tacoman on Thursday, May 17, 2001 - 07:22 am:

Ok Milkshake.. we'll deal with the base once we take care of Taconator. If you're right and we examine the base, we may be arrested and jailed... and that wouldn't be a good thing when Taconator is in town and we're the only ones that might be able to stop him.
Tacoman and Milkshake exit the Ready room. They overhear the last part of Kieth and Rita's conversation
Keith, as soon as we take care of Taconator, I'll give this entire crew a full tour of the current Spidermobile.
Jackson, at his post, turns around and looks at Tacoman
Jackson: So what happened when it crashed?
Tacoman: Well, we were in battle with the O'kaks, we tried to get back to Earth, but we ended up crashing on the planet...

The away team and I are currently aboard the Archangel, the same ship that Greymoran is in command of. We need to meet somewhere in order to bring the away team home. Tacoman out.
Tacoman: Thanks, Jackson.
Dupree: No problem, Jackson.. you know, this is somewhat strange, meeting up with the original me..So where did you find that lovely creature?
Tacoman: I know what you mean. It is kind of awkward, meeting like this. And as for "lovely creature," I assume you're talking about Butrfli, right? Dupree nods Well, I had just recovered from being insane, when a group of wizards invaded the ship. Butrfli was in the group, and helped us stop them. Look.. I'm sorry for losing my temper, but I've been with these people for a while, and I consider them friends... I just didn't want you to make a fool of yourself in front of them.
Tacoman: I understand completely. I guess I did say a foolish thing then...
Jackson: That's good. By the way, there's one final crewmember I want you to meet before you go.
Hey Carrie, meet the guy I was cloned from!

There's no weapons, Pete, we gotta warp!

Milkshake jumps forward and slams his hand down on the Helm console. Just as the mysterious ships fire another round of blue ion-bolts, these meant to disable the Spider completely, the stars streak forward and the Spidermobile jumps into relativistic warpspace.

Phew! Jeez, you guys, conversation is all well and good, but you gotta pay attention!

The Spidermobile returns to normal space, and a second later, the Revanche also appears and pulls alongside.

Uh oh, what happened to the Archangel?

Commander Milkshake, status?

By Commander Milkshake on Friday, May 18, 2001 - 07:28 pm:

Several cloaked ships of unknown origin appeared about 8 kilometers off the starboard bow. They opened fire with ion-beams. We were hit twice, weapons and shields were disabled. I engaged the warp drive and we managed to escape before being completely disabled. The Revanche also managed to escape, with no damage but several systems down. No word from the Archangel. Sensor scans of our former position show no sign of either the Archangel or the attacking ships.

I'm examining our scans of the attackers now. They had no IFF transponders, no communications carrier wave transmission, or identifying marks. However, I KNOW I've seen this type of ship structure before. I'll have the computer run these through the ship database.

Milkshake does so, and in a few short seconds the computer responds.

"Search Results taken from classified files. Require command authorization."

Milkshake-Omega-Wheatgrass-Tangelo-Bruce-47.

"Command code accepted. Attacking ships are Enforcement Industries scout models, Intercept class, heavily modified. Currently in use by Terran Security Force."

Far as they knew he hadn't been created yet when the TerrSec incidents occured. "What, you think I don't read?" he replied sarcastically. "Anyway, I guess don't need to tell you what happened. I saw the Revanche out there. Was the other ship with them the Archangel?" Tacoman looks concerned. Kiehart doesn't know what happened.

We could link into Archangel's computers and search the multiverse for tactics to capture a non corporal being. Though since the Jedi use force based attacks and I use chi and magic based attacks we should be able to take out the android. We could always have a redshirt try to trap him in a denshi jar.

Remember, If anyone dies STAY IN THE WAITING ROOM! I will bring you back.

Oh, and Insane, you are my honorary boyfriend. If I should go kaioblonde, you will be the only one directing me, though use small words. Here, wear your Academy Prep Varsity Jacket, then I will listen to you for sure.

By Plot Exacerbation....again! on Friday, May 18, 2001 - 10:16 pm:

The X-CwX drone switches course, and starts heading for the Transporter Room. Several redshirts try to stop her with phasers and other energy-weapons, but her personal force-shield blocks the attacks. She ignores them without counterattacking, and proceeds on her way.
Outside the Transporter Room door, the Crimson Crossbow appears, and fires a Thunderblast bolt, which knocks the drone to the ground. The shockwave appears to have somehow deactivated the drone, as well.

Crimson Crossbow (to a redshirt, who just appeared): Everything's fine, now. Return to whatever you were doing.

redshirt: Yes, ma'am. (He holsters his weapon and walks off.)

Crimson Crossbow activates her communicator.

Crossbow to Sickbay. Doc, I've got a patient for you, and you won't believe who....I mean what....it is! (She taps her comm again.)Transporter Room, two to Sickbay, please.

The transporters engage, and beam C.C. and the drone to Sickbay.

Several minutes later, in Sickbay, after C.C. has explained things, the Holodoc is examining the drone while C.C. stands by, with another Thunderblast bolt loaded into her weapon, which is slung over her shoulder, just in case.

Holodoc (Who looks disturbingly like a samurai, top-knot, katana and all, and is using a medical tricorder on the drone's head): Hmmm....interesting. Energy weapons had no effect, but a combination of sonic and concussive force did.

Crimson Crossbow: Yes. I don't understand it myself.

Holodoc: I wish I had access to Rocket Ranger's files. He did some extensive scans on the drone, and I believe he had been conducting some other research as well, before he left.

Crimson Crossbow: Well, we don't know who has access to his computer files. We can get in his lab, no problem, since the drone destroyed the door. But we'd have to lower the force field, and we're keeping that up to keep everyone out as Rocket wished.

By Captain Tacoman, sending a message on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 07:02 am:

Why would TerrSec be attacking us... unless it has something to do with the thing your found, Milkshake...
Contact the Archangel and send the following message on an encrypted channel.
Captain Tacoman to the Archangel, we have an idea on who attacked us, but no idea on why. The ships that attacked are those that are used by Earth's TerrSec, but whether it was TerrSec itself that attacked, we don't know. If we are captured by TerrSec, or any other force, it will be your job to capture and defeat Taconator. Good luck, Tacoman out.

By Lt PD Insane on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 07:44 am:

Thanks, Donna. Uh, what exactly dya mean by "Honorary"...?

Last time we faced Taconator and TerrSec we crashed our ship. I don't wish that to happen again. I agree with Donna, the Archangel is part of the Extradimensional Control Agency and so they'll have a vast multi-Universal knowledge.

By Lt Cmdr Rikard on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 09:20 am:

Actually Pete, we weren't against TerrSec when we crashed, it was the O'kakians. Taconator was allied with them.

By X-Over on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 01:24 pm:

Keith and Rita are pessed into the shadows of the weapon sails {AUTHOR'S NOTE: Read the DS9 novel Fallen Heroes for the reference}, where their lifesigns won't be picked up by the men marching through the halls of the ship. Keith and Rita had managed to climb out of the stalled turbolift earlier. Rita shakes her head. These people, whoever they were, had passed over the hiding places she would've checked first had she been in charge of the invaders. Then one passes right below them. Rita, using a tricorder manages to get a visual of the man, then gasps. "Keith," she whispers, "it's TerrSec! We were jumped by TerrSec!" Keith moaned lightly. "These guys again?"

-

On the bridge, Greymoran was stunned unconscious immediately by the TerrSec officers after he'd managed to turn one into a pile of melted metal armor and smoking flesh with his Fireballs. Carrie was still off line, and the TerSec succesfully disabled Hudzen with some kind of EMP device. Jackson was held at gunpoint, and shortly, Sorik was forced onto the bridge with him. Jackson hoped that Keith, Rita, and Ahz were safe.

-

Aboard the Revanche Jerry Redding was pacing nervously. He'd never heard of this TerrSec before, but the description Tacoman had sent him was enough to have him worried about the Archangel. "Oakensheild, hail the Spidership again. Ask them if we can give any help in the search."

Adon and Ahz sat in a small cafe in Paris.

Ahz: "This place isn't too bad."

Thank you. It is rather nice isn't it.

Ahz took a quick glance around the room.

Ahz: "Ne maneto le actura yuno qua."
Several groups seem to be watching us.

Na naga.
I know.

A person sitting at a nearby table leaned over and whispered to Adon and Ahz.
Man: "Excuse me, but you might want to turn off the subtitles."

Ahz and Adon looked down. In the center of their table, was the words that the man had just spoke, written in perfect Hiigaran. Adon glanced up at Ahz.

Ahz: "Sorry about that. I tied an image device to the Universal Translator, and I guess I forgot to turn it off."

Ahz reached up and touched a device near his ear. The subtitles vanished from the table. Then the two carried on their conversation in a language that the UT couldn't handle.

With all the things that have been going on, its probably TerrSec.

Ahz: "Should I make a discrete exit?"

Stick around. I wouldn't mind some back up when they make their move.

Ok... Do we go after Taconator, or do we go back to Earth and see what TerrSec is up to.. I want some opinions and options here.

By Commander Milkshake on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 07:17 pm:

I don't think we can find Taconator, Captain. We're still dealing with a 64th century psychotic. He'll be able to cover his tracks and keep hidden until he thinks himself powerful enough to defeat us.

I'm really worried about this TerrSec situation. O'kak is gone, and TerrSec is STILL hostile towards us! Something is wrong with this picture. For some reason, TerrSec wants us out of the way, and it must think it's strong enough to take us out without causing a stir. I think we should send an encrypted communique to EarthSys Intel, which is the only earth department strong enough to take on TerrSec, then find out what's in that underwater base. We'll have to be sneaky about it...

By X-Over on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 07:52 pm:

The Archangel was being towed by les than advanced tractor beams. Whatever tug the TerrSec people were using wasn't a very good one because the ship kept getting swung along as it was taken to the TerrSec base. keith and Rita had come out of hiding as soon as they were sure the TerrSec people were gathered on the bridge. Rita managed to tap into the internal sensors and saw that Greymoran, Sorik, Hudzen, and Jackson were being held at bay by TerrSec. Another check of the internal sensors revealed the shuttle bays were unguarded. "We can grab a shuttle then go for help." Kieht muttered, keeping his voice low just in case. Rita shook her head. "No, we have to try and retake the ship. And I think I have a plan. We make sure the shuttle is pinned in place. We'll use it's tractor to lock it to the deck. Then we open the bay door froma sfae location. The decompression will alter the ship's course. Since it's being tugged so poorly, the other ship probably won't be able to compensate and will have to let us go. From there, we get to engineering, and take over engine control from there. Then, we go to Ahz's lab, and hope he left Ryo-O here when he went off with that Adon fellow." Keith looked at her as if to say 'go on," but she just smiled, and Keith knew what she was hoping for. She hoped Ryo-O would be able to retake the ship.

Meanwhile, Kiehart stood on the bridge watching the crew banter about with varying ideas. None of them semed to even notice Captain Redding's query about a resuce plan. This is taking much longer than it needs to, he thought to himself. He left the bridge to go to his fighter. When he got to Banshee, he ordered her to power up her enhanced snesors. Being in the bay would hamper them, but he wasn't worried. "OK, take a;ll the sensor data of the are we were at when TerrSec jumped us. Then, take the angle those ships were at when they decloaked. Something tells me that even uncloaked those ships would've bee-lined from there base instead of an erratic course. OK, that's good. Now, superimpose a map of known TerrSec bases over that map there. Determine for me which base they most likely came from." A half-hour later, Banshee had narrowed it down. There were two possible bases the TerrSec attackers could've come from. Kiehart doubted very much that the Archangel would be taken to those bases, but it was a place to start. He transferred the results to a padd, than ran towards the lift to take him to the bridge.

By Captain Tacoman on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 08:44 pm:

As the crew debates, the turbolift doors open, and Kiehart steps off
Yes Kiehart?
Kiehart hands Tacoman his Padd, which Tacoman looks over
Very good work, Kiehart. Transport aboard Captain Redding's ship with this data and see if you can find the Archangel.
Milkshake, go with your plan. Contact EarthSys Intel, and see if we can sneak the ship back to Earth.

By Commander Milkshake and Plot Device on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 09:07 pm:

Aye, sir. I'm going to need a lot of processing power to create a code that'll fool TerrSec, so the computer won't be able to handle nonessential functions while I'm working on it.

One redshirt who had been busy mopping the bridge floor suddenly looks up.

"No need, Commander. I thought something like this might happen. I am Operative X-379 of Earth System Intelligence. You can call me by my codename, Shingle. We've been keeping an eye on you ever since the O'kakian Invasion. TerrSec has been encroaching on our jurisdiction for some time. Now that we have concrete evidence of TerrSec's treason, we are free to act. I have a small quadspace communicator with which I will contact my superiors. We will help you to reach the underwater base. TerrSec obviously has something there they don't want us to get."

By EMH to CaptainTacoman on Saturday, May 19, 2001 - 10:02 pm:

Suddenly, Tacoman gets a message on his communicator from the EMH.

Captain, something strange is happening to the X-CwX drone! Its starting to reject its extraneous implants and its skin color is changing, and I have no idea why! I suggest we contact Rocket Ranger as soon as possible and ask for access to his files!

By Ahz and Commander Adon on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 12:30 am:

Meanwhile, in the small cafe, a group of TerrSec Agents was discretely surrounding Ahz and Adon as they sat at their table.

Ahz (speaking in Numekien): "You had better be right about this."

Adon (also speaking Numekien): "Don't worry. You can leave at any time you want, remember?"

Four Agents approached the table, two behind Ahz, and two behind Adon.
Agent: "Commander Adon?"

Adon: "Yes?"

As soon as he spoke, both Adon and Ahz were pelted with nearly 50 electroshock darts, knocking both Wanderers out.

....and it is imperative, sir, that I gain access to those files so I can tell what is happening, or we may be forced to eject the drone into space for our own safety.

Suddenly, a communication comes in through the Sickbay comm. Only the Holodoc can hear it. It is Rocket Ranger's voice!

I can't talk long. There is a risk this may be monitored, or traced, and that cannot be allowed to happen. I know about the problem with the.... sensitive item in my lab, thanks to a security program that I set up. It alerted me as soon as it happened. That's why I took this precaution. (He pauses.)
Alpha-Kumquat-Chilipowder-Spaghetti-Yogurt!
Good luck. You should now know what to do. Use the information quickly; you will forget it completely within 12 hours!

The signal breaks. Holodoc begins `thinking'. He stops after several seconds and contacts Tacoman again.

Sir, I have just had Rocket Ranger's files on the X-CwX drone downloaded into my memory banks! Request permission to immediately begin putting the information to use!

By Message for Milkshake and Tacoman! on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 03:02 am:

At the same time Holodoc is receiving a message from Rocket Ranger, Tacoman and Commander Milkshake each receive a recorded message, which only they can hear (Its coming in through their armors' built-in comm-systems):

At the same time you are receiving this, I am sending the files on the X-CwX drone to the EMH, so he can finish the repairs and modifications that I had begun before leaving the ship. He will have 12 hours to do this, which is more than enough time. Estimates are that he can accomplish this is eight hours. Five, if he has assistance.
It is also time that you knew the truth, although I am surprised that you have not shown any suspicions. The truth is, I am not a Space Marshal. Technically. My brother Randall and I were assigned to join the Space Marshals in order to determine how deep the corruption in the organization goes, and to try and circumvent any malevolent actions the organization might attempt because of that corruption. Randall's death was faked, and he was reassigned elsewhere.
The Space Marshals still have no idea at all of this, but I was sent to join LICC by my commanding officer in the Space Marshals to eventually act as a liason between the two groups. I lied about joining on my own, although it was my intention to some day do so.
After leaving the spidership, I went to be debriefed at the Space Marshals Command Post in Alpha Centauri. Two days later, my true superiors assigned me to do some research and that has recently been completed.
In the meantime, I will be returning to the spidership as soon as possible, but someone will be coming with me. As soon as I return, it is imperative that I have a private meeting with all the command staff. The meeting will be about the data that will be transmitted to the computer in Captain Tacoman's personal quarters right after this message ends. Read it immediately!
Oh, by the way, Kent and Wayne have some more information that might be useful to you. All you have to do is give them the passcode `Garbonzo & Garlic Chili-Flavored Peanut Butter Bubblegum'.
Rocket Ranger, out.

The recording ends.*

By Ahz on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 05:36 pm:

Ahz wakes up in a the center of a cube-shaped concrete room. The only features were spotlights mounted in each corner, all focused on Ahz, who was bound to a chair in the center of the room. There were no doors or windows anywhere in the room.

Ahz's arms were behind him, with several sets of bindings starting at his wrists and stopping well above his elbows. His legs were also bound to the chair with even more bindings, and there were several more binders were around his chest. Eventually, a voice spoke, but it was heavily modified, so Ahz had no idea who was speaking to him, or how many people there were.

Interrogator: "What were you doing with the person known as Adon?"

Adon? Who is this 'Adon'? I have know idea who whom you are speaking about.

Interrogator: "Do not lie to us. We saw you speaking with him."
The wall directly in front of Ahz seemed to melt into a picture of him and Adon at the cafe.
Interrogator: "Now, what were you doing with him?"

I know my rights. I demand that my lawyer be brought in during this questioning. I refuse to speak until he gets here.

Interrogator: "You have no rights. Even if you were from this planet, your rights do not exist in this room, as the interests of the planet are more important. I suggest answer our questions, if you do not want this to happen to you."

At that moment, Ahz felt a charge go though his bindings, giving him a nasty shock.

Interrogator: "Now, tell us what we want to know."

By TerrSec on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 05:55 pm:

Several Agents were watching Ahz in the interrogation room on several large screens. On even more screens, Ahz's personal data would have been shown, but they were blank since TerrSec didn't have any data on him.

Agent #1: "I don't like this. He is probably a Wanderer like Adon. If he is, he could escape in an instant."

Agent #2: "If he could escape, he could have done so by now. Besides, the more data on these Wanderer's that we can collect, the more enhancements we can make to Project Aramath. We don't want to make the same mistakes that we made last time."

Agent #1: "I still don't like this."

The Agent looked at another set of screens showing a still unconscience Adon. Unlike Ahz, Adon was bound, crucifixion-like to a large metal slab in the center of another interrogation room. He was tied down with metal straps, and then completely covered with a clear crystal substance. There were several electrodes scattered around his body, monitoring his current condition.

Agent #1 (to himself): "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Keith and Rita were outside the shuttle bay. They'd already locked the shuttle into place so it wouldn't fly out when they opened the door from a makeshift remore Rita had constructed. She crosses her fingers then looks at Keith. "Just in case this doesn't work and we end up tearing the ship apart, I'm sorry I yelled at you before." Before he can answer, she pushes the button. The ship begins to shake violently as the decompression causes the ship to jekr while still in the grip of the TerrSec tug's tractor beams. Suddenly. The shaking stops. "We're free of it!" Keith exclaims excited. They run towards Ahz's lab, hoping Ryo-O would let them in. They come around the corner to find Several TerrSec officers firing into the door of the lab, trying to break in. One of them spots the Yeagers. Rita falls back and runs. "••••! Keith, run!" He turns to follow her, and is felled by a stun blast. He drops to the floor unconscious. Rita continues her run towards the shuttle, using the remote to repressurize the bay and reactivate the sheild that would allow her to climb into the shuttle and fly out quickly. Suddenly she slams hard into someone who stepped out of the shadows. Another TerrSec officer was standing there, vacuum burns on his side. "I was in the bay looking for you when you opened the door you little witch." As Rita stands up, he backhands her across the face. She falls to the floor again. The TerrSec officer draws closer. She suddenly kicks out iwth both legs, hitting the man in the knees, hard. He screams in pain. Rita grabs his blaster and fires, not checking the setting. His head is incinerated in the burst. She continues to run for the shuttle bay. She hated leaving Keith behind, but she had to get help, and Ryo-O was cut off.

(As the senior staff assembles in the ready room, Observer speaks to Mystery.}

I have confidence in you, Mystery. Your skills are still untried, but I sense that we will triumph over evil, once again.

By Agent Shingle on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 07:45 pm:

In the ready room

I have contacted my superiors and was put through to the Director himself. It turns out over 20 small groups of TerrSec ships are scouring the area surrounding Earth. This is going to take some extreme measures to get you onto the planet. I'm still awaiting details, but the Director assured me it can be done.

By Donna Burger, Ships Intel Analyst on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 08:14 pm:

I have checked out Greymoran's quarters from when he was with LICC. Other than a group photo of Rita Yeager, Barbra Walters, Lucy Lui, and Ken Starr, his computer contained a link to the XDCL Database. It appears to have several million seperate Databases from across the multiverse. I put in a search request for "Energy Based lifeforms, defeats." It will take several more days for the complete search. I also put in Taconator, Defeats. This will find other universes with Taconator and his defeats.

As for Earth and Terrasec security, I found a way to defeat them. We can douse the planet with borg nanoprobes and assimilate them. We will then know everything that Terrasec is planning, by assimilating one of our own. We can then fly in Earth's orbit backward, reverse time, and then use our knowlege to destroy Terrasec in one blast. Quick, easy, fast.

By Ensign Eyeduntingsoh on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 08:30 pm:

Um, that's an interesting idea, but that whole reversing time by orbiting Earth thing was disproved years ago. It's only in movies. And time travel is really really dangerous. Besides, if we destroy TerrSec, then we won't assimilate them and then they won't be destroyed and then we'll assimilate them and...my head hurts.

By Captain Tacoman on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 09:06 pm:

Ok.. Let's see what Rocket has to say...
Tacoman types in a few commands, and the message appears on the screen...

By In the Ready Room on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 09:17 pm:

The senior staff (and Kent and Wayne, and Agent Shingle) assemble in the Ready Room. Captain Tacoman has given Kent and Wayne the passcode.

Kent: Before we proceed, I must show you something. (He motions toward the computer. Tacoman nods, and Kent walks over and inputs some codes.) First of all, this information that Wayne and I are about to give you does not leave this room! (A layout of TerrSec Headquarters appears on the screen, along with pictures of several people, and a text document.) What Rocket did not tell you is that we are actually agents of an alliance between Earth Intelligence and the Galactic Order. The Space Marshals were originally created by the Galactic Order as a peacekeeping organization, similar to the ancient Purple Flashlight Brigade that disbanded
several centuries ago.

Wayne: Unfortunately, due to budget cutbacks the Space Marshals were basically given self-autonomy and forced to finance themselves, while remaining allied to the Galactic Order, instead of being a true part of it. This was shortly after the first use of
Directive Omega.

Kent: Yes, and eventually this led to incompentant leaders taking power in the Space Marshals, only to be replaced by corrupt ones after they were dismissed.

Wayne: For the last four years, Earth has been in secret talks with the Grand Council of the Galactic Order about a possible alliance, or even membership. This information was kept from both TerrSec and the Space Marshals, but we believe that TerrSec has somehow discovered this, and they don't like it one bit!

Kent: TerrSec may be as corrupt as the Space Marshals. Fortunately, an alliance between the two organizations is not possible, since they hate each other beyond belief.

Wayne: Rocket sent this information because our superiors in Earth Systems Intelligence and the Galactic Order...we're technically members of both....want LICC to help stop TerrSec from interfering.

Kent: The pictures you see are of TerrSec's leaders, on the left, and Galactic Order High Council Leader M'kor Jastrell, on the right.

Wayne: Agent Shingle, care to add anything? You've been in contact with E.S.I. more recently than we have? Has anything changed since we were last debriefed?

By Kent & Wayne on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 09:27 pm:

Kent: Oh, before I forget.....Rocket sent us a message. The Galactic Order knows about the TerrSec ships surrounding Earth. If we have to go there, the Galactic Order's Tech Division is prepared to supply us with a Cloaking Device, but unfortunately it is not compatible with the spidership's systems. Without some modifications, we may have to use the ThunderWolf, instead. The only thing is, with the modifications to the spidership's systems, we could use the cloak for a longer period of time than if it was installed in the ThunderWolf.

Wayne: The modifications to the spidership would take a little under five hours to complete, and another fifteen-point-seven minutes to install the cloak.

Kent: Now, Agent Shingle.... do you have any new information for us? How go the talks between Earth and the G.O. High Council?

By Agent Shingle on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 10:04 pm:

Shingle sits back in his chair and sighs.

Not well. Earth is proud of its soverignty and unity of race. There are more than a few important voices in the Senate who want to keep Earth isolated. It's just too bad that we've overcome all prejudice among our own species, only to foster prejudices against other beings. The isolationists are hampering the negotiations for alliance. Even greed won't get through to them, since the trade potential in the Earth-G.O. Alliance would feather their nests for years to come.

Popular opinion has favored the isolationists for a while, but it looks like the people are changing their mind. Ever since the outlying human colonies were founded, more and more people have met aliens, worked with them and lived with them, and the colonists come back to Earth and tell their friends and relatives about their newfound alien friends. It couldn't come at a better time, but now the isolationists are hardening their necks. It looks like come next Planetary Election, a lot of old Senators will be out of a job.

By Lt. Cmdr. Rikard on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 10:30 pm:

So, uh, what are our orders? Are we going to find TerrSec and stop them? Personally, I don't think that it would be that hard to find Taconator, unless he doesn't want to be found. If we wants to take us out, then I'm guessing that he'll leave some kind of path of destruction or something.

By Wayne & Kent on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 11:12 pm:

Wayne (smiling deviously): Oh, I don't think Taconator will be much of a problem when Rocket Ranger gets back! He's been studying all the data that he could find on Taconator, and he's working on a very nasty surprise for Mr. Nator!

Kent (smiling deviously): Indeed!

Wayne (whispering in Kent's ear): Do you think we should tell them about Lt. Kaga and the Ensigns?

Kent (whispering back): Not just yet.

Wayne: Hmmm. To tell you the truth, Agent Shingle, that is better news than we had expected to hear!

By Commander Milkshake on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 11:39 pm:

I'm betting he's laying low until he rearms himself. I think we should head for the underwater base.

By TerrSec on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 12:25 am:

Alarms started going off around the interrogation control room as the Agents tried to figure out what went wrong.

Agent #1: "He's just gone."

Head Interrogator: "What is Adon's status?"

Agent #2: "No change. He is still unconscientious in room 4."

Agent #1: "The binders are still in place. Its almost like he beamed out."

Agent #3: "The anti-transport field is still in place."

Head Interrogator: "Show me what happened to the the subject."

On the screen that displayed Ahz's empty chair, the image changed to show the last few minutes that Ahz occupied the room.

Ahz was sitting in the room and then suddenly, he was gone. The only sound was the clatter of the bindings hitting the floor.

Agent #1: "That's just impossible! He couldn't have just disappeared like that!"

Head Interrogator: "It obviously is possible, as it happened. Scan the entire facility and the surrounding area. He must be close. And keep an eye on Adon. I don't want him getting away."

The agents turned and began scanning the facility, while the Head Interrogator folded his hands and stared intently at the image of Adon on the main screen.

By Lt PD Insane on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 01:57 am:

Uh, Donna, Greymoran was never on the ship. You must be mistaken.

By Captain Tacoman on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 06:59 am:

Ok.. Wayne, Kent, make the necessary modifications. If we need to go somewhere to do it, let us know. Also, if there are any other interesting bits of technology you could give us, do that too.

By Nit, the picky, picky pixie on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 07:55 am:

Didn't they once use holographic projectors to make the Spidermobile look like another ship during the Dr. Negative storyline?

By Kent and Wayne on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 07:59 am:

Kent: Actually, Colanator will have to make the modifications. With his knowledge of the ship's systems, he would have an easier time of it, and be able to complete the modifications a little faster.

Wayne picks up a PADD, and begins inputting some commands. Then he hands it to Kent, who looks at it.

Wayne: Is that about right?

Kent: Perfect. I'll go take this to Colanator, if you don't mind, sir.

Tacoman nods, and Kent leaves.

Wayne: Sir, I've been thinking that we might want to update the ship's phase-inverter. That would provide a 5 to 10 percent increase in warp acceleration, and a 12.6 percent increase in structural integrity. But we would probably have to requisition those.
As for other technology, I could add a couple of plasma-vent flux modulation nodes to the weapons systems. That would decrease the cool-down period for the weapons by 25 percent, with a slight increase in power as well.
Also, we have a Himmelman Helix Missile Launcher and a Pharphiggnughen's Disassociator that we could install. Unforunately, they're both new models and haven't been tested yet.

By Agent Shingle on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 10:17 am:

If you have worked out a cloaking device that will foil TerrSec, that's half the work done. EarthSys Intel will make sure TerrSec never suspects you went back to Earth. A little subterfuge is a very good thing sometimes.

Shingle opens his communicator and begins speaking into it.

By Donna on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 11:20 am:

Insane, whatever are you talking about? Greymoran has 6 sets of Ships logs named after him, he had to stay on ship at least some of that time. The true question you should ask is how did I get in his quarters after they were on Spidership II. I checked with Ship Operations, and they keep very detailed minute models of the entire ship, so detailed that their data goes to the quatium level. This way they can replicate anything that was lost. So after Spidership III was built they proceded to recreate the Inactive Crew Quarters, so if anyone returned, they would still have a area to use. I just found the room labled Greymoran. Of intrest might be that Ze French Knight has a Cowpens in his room, and Old DC fan has a Mylar lined vault.

By Captain Tacoman, preparing on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 11:24 am:

Wayne, do it.
How about personal weapons, if we need them?
Ok. I want all systems and departments at full capacity.
Milkshake, look through the CyberTec catalog to see if they have anything ithat could help us. If they do, order it.
