Chapter 3:
OUT! Roared Uncle Vernon, and he took both Harry and Dudley by the scruffs of thier necks and threw them into the hall, slamming the kitchen door behind them.
...and a few even forced through the small window in the downstairs bathroom.
Something came wizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. Next moment, thirty of fourty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.

Chapter 1:
Harry left through the back door.
...as he passed the door to the living room...
He had only just reached the upstairs landing ... Harry crossed to his bedroom on tiptoe.
Before Harry could move, Dobby had darted to the bedroom door, pulled it open, and sprinted down the stairs.
... Jumped the last six steps, landing catlike on the hall carpet ... From the dining room, he heard Uncle Vernon ... ran up the hall to the kitchen
... a barn owl swooped through the dining room window...

Harry got up and followed Uncle Vernon out of the kitchen and into the next room. Uncle Vernon closed the door sharply behind both of them.
