The Great American Dream...

Some people argue that's life's what you make of it, that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it, that it don't matter where you come from just merely who you are. But contrary to this view point, of the Great American Dream, often cited out of context by the controllers of the means, is the harshness of the real world we actually live in. Where the people with the most money wear the largest grins, while the rest of us are just trying to fit in, and though I agree, that beneath what we can't change we're all pretty much the same.... It don't mean that you can try and tell me that life's what you make of it, that anything is possible if you've got the balls to take it, cause that's such an easy claim to make if you've already had the breaks. And while i don't wanna lie here and watch the TV, there's not much else to do as I can't find meaning, yeah, man the future's looking bleak, just endless misery. I, don't believe in what you're selling me, I want to be free from the bullshit that's lining your coffin with greed. So don't try to tell me that's life's what you make of it, that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it, that it don't matter where you come from just merely who you are. Cause while to a large extent, this is plausilble, it really don't add up when you put your mind to it, cause not every one was born to lead the human race. I, don't believe in what you're selling me, I want to be free from the bullshit that's lining your coffin with greed. So don't try to tell me you're not just doing it for yourself, cause I won't believe you or anybody else. No... I, don't believe in what you're selling me, I want to be free from the bullshit that's lining your coffin with greed.
