I often ask myself why the hell we would bother to put so much time and effort into a band that is never going to make us any money or be very successful. It's a curly question particularally because it does take so much of our time and money to keep it going and growing. Let's face it, the live music scene in Australia is totally fucked and. There is little support from venues and other artists, let alone those who could financially get behind us and help us make something of our art. However, we aint doing it for them. We aint even doing it for you. You only have to speak to any "successful" band to know better than to put all your faith in the fans. They will come and go quicker than Oasis. Put simply, we do this because we think we are good. We think we have something to offer the world of music. We aint scenesters. We aint writing songs to fit in. We aint interested in that shit! I dunno why we do this, but I know I would never be happy if we didn't.
