Other Supra, Automotive,
Racing Info and Links...
Links...
A series of links to other
sites I like...and if you're into what you've seen here, you should enjoy them
too!
- Larry
Anderson's 'old school' supra site
: Perhaps one of the nicest guys on the SOGI mailing list, and on the Supraforums...and
has a very cool, and comprehensive site
to cap it off! Does it get any better than this?
- Chris
Jenson's Ultimate Supra and Automotive Page : Is there anything
this guy has not done/tried on his supra. I use this site frequently for
looking up parts that I would also love to get my hands on, and as a basis
for projects I'd like to perform as time and money allow. Has perhaps one of
the most complete setup for frame and suspension stiffening around (short of
coilovers...but he may just not have added that information yet! Who knows)
Plenty of pictures of the parts and install instructions for everything
almost.
- Dean Anderson's MK II pages: A local Supra nut, member of the Toronto
Supra Club, leader of the MK II pack, and all around one of the nicest guys
I have met. His site is devoted to his 3 babies, in their various states and
conditions of modification. http://www3.sympatico.ca/dean.anderson4/
is where you will find him. Love the MK II, and would like to get one for my
own little project one day...after I get most of the MK III done perhaps (ssssshhhhhhh...........don't
let my MK III hear that).
Pictures...every
one loves pictures...
Enough
of the Pictures, on to more links...
Parts &
Supplies I endorse (like that means anything...):
- Weston Cylinder Head/Precision Rim Repair. While I don't endorse
many, Paul gets a HUGE thumbs up from me. Always courteous, and truly
did a magnificent job on these. Really top shelf place. They also do
engine rebuilds and are something of a preferred builder of the 7M
engines, especially for those seeking proper workmanship for metal head
gasket installation and
such. Again, really know their stuff. Visit them at
http://www.rim-repair.com.
They are located on Rivalda road North of Sheppard in North
York/Weston. Here is one completed rim pic to give you an idea of the
work, but they truly have to be seen in person, and with the new
tires.
- Kennedy Hi-Fi. A pleasure to deal with. Kennedy is a proud
sponsor of the Toronto Supra Club and is the regional Tein Co. dealer
(and largest in Canada), as well as a general performance shop for
other parts, with sound systems and alarm/electronics installations
being the heart of the business. These guys have gone above and beyond
the call of duty in getting me the Type FLEX coil over system, and
arranging the shop to corner balance and set up the system, and I will
be looking forward to shopping from them again. Visit the site at http://www.kennedyhifi.com.
I thought
about putting all sorts of other internet stores and stuff here, but I really
don't buy much (yet), and have a love-hate relationship with
my Toyota dealer, who is my pusher 95% of the time.
Besides, If I put those I have checked out it would
read like the google search you can do in 3 sec flat
anyway...hey, there it is.....Google.com!!!.....Perhaps
this isn't too helpful, but happy searching anyway!
