Be careful what you wish for, because it might come true.
But he hadnt meant this - not this.
How great would it be, he had thought, if this fantastic new friend/brother he had just met could get on with the soulmate who had turned his world on its head, if they could learn to love each other in the way he loved them.
As the giggles on the other side of the door faded to moans, and the faintly heard movements took on the age old familiar rhythm, he rested his forehead against the door, wanting to scream at them to stop, wanting to run as far away as possible, but unable to move.
His soulmate. His brother.
Be careful what you wish for.

He lay quietly, stroking the sweat soaked dark hair, waiting as the trembling slowed, then stopped.
"All right?"
"More than that," came the reply. "Amazing."
"Better than it was with Billy?" He couldnt stop the words tumbling out, horrified at himself and dreading the response.
Silence for a long, long moment, then a sigh.
"Different. Yes, better." Eyes, still almost all pupil, locked with his own. "Its you I want."
"Then why?"
A shrug. "Because I love him. Because we both wanted to."
Not a proper answer, not an answer at all really. He pulled Elijah close, and closed his eyes.

"Do you love him?"
Billy looked up, his eyes meeting Dominics with all the honesty in his soul.
"Yes I do. He loves me as well, I know. But Dom, hes in love with you, and that little word makes all the difference."
"Are you in love with him?"
"No." The answer so immediate, so definite that Dominic couldnt doubt it.
"Then why did you do it?" A cry from the heart.
"You." Billy smiled, and Dominic reacted without intending to. "We both wanted to know what part of you the other had. Weve both got your love, but were selfish, Dom. We want it all." He put a hand on Dominics arm. "It wont happen again."
"Me?" Dominic felt giddy with relief and confusion.
Love and in love.
It didnt get any better, did it?

Small, childlike hands running over skin, leaving a trail of heat behind them. Hips grinding hard and mouths even harder, tongues and teeth warring with each other as bodies move together, working up into a frenzy of movement which suddenly stills, the silence full of small sounds of release and relief, of desperation turned into pleasure.
As breath returns, along with sanity, two pairs of eyes meet, and a smile becomes a laugh.
"Thank god it worked. Did he really believe it when you told him it wouldnt happen again?"
Billy laughs and rests his head against Elijahs shoulder, listening for the sounds outside the door.
The End
