The Guardian - Eternal Hero and Gunslinger from the Weird West
Quote: "Y'see, you're just bein' pessimistic. Y'all look at this and see a bunch of untrained volunteers with farm implements. Me? I look at this and see a bunch of C.F.'s and a diversion just waiting to happen. Experience, boy. It's what I got plenty of, and what you are sorely lackin'. Now pick up that shovel and stop yer bitchin' a'fore I kill you m'self. You just watch...it'll be great! You get to die like heroes, and we just might be able to save most of this town!"
Description/Background: Not much has been previously known about the background of the mysterious gunslinger that people have been calling the Guardian for over 200 years. A "man with no name", if accounts are to be believed he has survived countless conflicts and is himself a "living legend". While the hundreds of stories that have sprung up about him over the years tend to disagree and contradict each other on several points, one thing is certain - the Guardian is NOT a Harrowed. How he has been able to survive across the years, appearing and disappearing into history and myth is an open point of debate around many a campfire. Is he a misunderstood hero? A demon in human form? Is he more than one person? Does he even really exsist? Nothing up until now has ever been certain about the mysterious figure, who with a matched pair of gatling pistols, is rumored to stride across the Wastes even today. Recently, several palmcorder dataslugs were sent annonymously to the Library at Boise. Upon them is the apparent history of the Guardian, told by the man himself. The content of these dataslugs will be posted here as they are transcribed and the enigma that is the Guardian is finally revealed.

Post Mortem Note - This paticular incarnation of the Gaurdian was slain by an ancient indian "god" in the caverns beneath the ruins of the fabled lost city of Cibola somewhere in southern Utah.
