Paquina is a 1971 fin keel Catalina 22, one of the most popular sail boats ever built. Most of the Catalina 22s built were "swing keel" (the keel swings up to make it easier to trailer the boat), but Paquina has a fixed, fin keel that does not swing and does not have a trailer. Paquina is hull number 26K, which means that she is the 26th fin keel that the company ever built. Catalina Yachts is still building these boats today, though they have redesigend it slightly in the '90s.

Here is some of the equipment on Paquina:

- Installed a new CDI Flexible Furler (and a new forestay) in Spring 2000.

- Hull repainted dark blue with Interlux Interthane, Fall 1999.

- Decks painted hateras white (off white) with Interthane, Spring 2000.

- Catalina Direct single line reefing system installed, Summer 1999.

- All line halyards (StaySet X).

- 2 New teak handrails

- Portapotty replaced, 1999.

- 1985 Mariner 8 hp outboard that runs very well.

- Main and 150% genoa in very good condition, but older than the 3 years I have owned the boat.

- Cabin cushions are covered in vinyl in good generally condition.

The following equipment is included but not installed:

- One (1) double deck organizer and one (1) double rope clutch to bring the halyards to the cockpit.

- One (1) set of stern rails.

- 1/2 quart hatteras white and 1 quart dark blue Interthane paint.

Comments:

The boat is in good sailing condition. The cabin (interior) could use a good cleaning. The paint did not come out as good as I would have liked considering the amount of work that went into it.

The reason I am selling is that I have bought a larger boat.
