I. GENERAL INFORMATION
=======================

Q: What is Lambda Task Force?
A: Lambda Task Force is a clan for Half-Life and certain Half-Life modifications.
Members of Lambda Task Force train together, compete against other clans, and
learn from their success and failure.

Q: How old is Lambda Task Force?
A: Lambda Task Force was founded late in February this year (2001).

Q: Who is the founder of Lambda Task Force?
A: [LTF]GrimReaper5[CF] is the founder and leader of Lambda Task Force.
Until he resigns from the LTF roster, he is the Commander-in-Chief of the clan.

Q: Is Lambda Task Force any good?
A: The members of Lambda Task Force are very talented. Although LTF does not yet
have the luxury of a widespread reputation, its ranks are home to a number
   of gifted players.

Q: How many members are in Lambda Task Force?
A: Lambda Task Force currently has twenty (20) members.

Q: Why are there different clan divisions?
A: Lambda Task Force is divided into four (4) primary clan divisions. These divisions
are Half-Life, Opposing Force, FireArms, and Counterstrike. There are several
reasons this is done. (A) To provide clan members with the option to
specialize in a certain game. For example, [LTF]FluffyBunny[DL] is the leader of
LTF's FireArms Division. (B) To maintain an organized hierarchy within Lambda
Task Force. (C) To allow clan members to seek assistance from members with more
   experience in a certain game.

II. REGULATIONS
=======================

Q: What are the requirements for joining Lambda Task Force?
A: In addition to owning a retail copy of Half-Life, applicants must own the
   following free modifications: (A)FireArms (B)Counterstrike. The Half-Life
add-on Opposing Force is purely optional. It can be purchased at an authorized
retailer or online at Sierra.com for $19.95. (C) A valid e-mail address is also
required, as we need to communicate frequently with Lambda Task Force members.

Q: Are there any recommended (optional) utilities?
A: ICQ is optional, but is extremely helpful in locating LTF members without
the trouble of e-mail. PunkBuster, an anti-cheat utility for Half-Life games,
is also recommended. If a player is caught cheating in a multiplayer game,
PunkBuster Server recognizes this and kicks the player from the server.

III. CONDUCT
=======================

Q: Does Lambda Task Force have any rules of conduct?
A: Yes. (A) Members of Lambda Task Force will remain loyal to LTF and will not set
a poor example for others or damage the clan's reputation. (B) Foul language is
expected among gamers and is therefore permitted (within reason). Please do
not abuse the privilege, as that violates Conduct Rule A. (C) While you are a
member of Lambda Task Force, you will not be permitted, under any circumstances,
to taunt or harass other players online. (D) Exceptions to Conduct Rule C may be
authorized only by GrimReaper5 himself. For example, if XYZ clan is
a rival clan of Lambda Task Force, harassment is still strictly prohibited.
If, however, XYZ clan initiates harassment toward members of Lambda Task Force,
LTF members should report the incident to GrimReaper5. If deemed
necessary, GrimReaper5 will override Conduct Rule C and add XYZ
clan to the Skirmish List. (E) Whenever possible, Lambda Task Force Members
should aid other players and set a positive example for others. (F) If deemed
necessary, court-martial hearings will be held for severe infractions in
conduct. The standard first offense penalty is a Conduct notice via e-mail.

Q: How are these rules of conduct enforced?
A: Although most infractions are overlooked, severe or deliberate infractions may
be met with various penalties. The standard penalties are as follows:

(First) ------- Conduct notice via e-mail.
(Second) ------ Reduction of rank for a period of two (2) days.
(Third) ------- Suspension of rank for a period of five (5) days.
(Fourth) ------ Court-martial hearing. Council will vote for appropriate action.
(Fifth) ------- Dishonorable discharge from Lambda Task Force.

Lambda Task Force reserves the right to alter the standard penalties at any time.

IV. MEMBERSHIP
=======================

Q: How do I join Lambda Task Force?
A: In order to join Lambda Task Force, you must apply for membership. The standard
membership application can be found at the Lambda Task Force website. You must
first complete the membership application at the website. Once approved, you
will be contacted via e-mail to schedule a training session. The training
session is merely a standard part of the application process. A clan member
will test your abilities in each of the four areas and evaluate your performance
accordingly. This evaluation will be submitted to GrimReaper5 for his
approval and he will appoint you to an appropriate rank. In some cases a
training session will not be required.

Q: Does Lambda Task Force have a rank system?
A: Yes. Lambda Task Force is currently using its second-generation rank system.
Prior to the current rank system, LTF used actual military ranks. Due to the
complexity of the system, Lambda Task Force established a new rank system based
on clan structure. The current rank system is as follows:

   Clan Founder -------------------------------------------------------- [CF]
   Division Leader ----------------------------------------------------- [DL]
   Elite Member -------------------------------------------------------- [EM]
   Team Leader --------------------------------------------------------- [TL]
   Team Member --------------------------------------------------------- [TM]
   New Recruit --------------------------------------------------------- [NR]
