Grinling is a young, thin-faced male fairy.
An amazing entertainer fairly well known throughout
the lands of Xyllomer. Here is his story:

Grinling entered Xyllomer in Atlantis, where most fairies do.
He spent time exploring the Island, discovering the
small interesting places and things. He spent his time
collecting herbs, furs, weapons and things, and selling them
to the local shops. He also spent time improving his acrobatics,
performing shows for the local people of Atlantis.
He grew bored very quickly, as there were rarely
other people on the island (which made for a
very small audience.) So he decided to take a risk,
and travel to lands unknown.

Grinling went first to Padorn, where he found all sorts of
people and excitement. He realized that this was where he
should stay in order to build his audience. And this is
exactly what he did! He performed his show in the
Pubs and Inns of Padorn, and slowly travelled outwards to
the other cities and villages of the continent...Dalzengund,
Elohim, Razza. He met many people during his travels who
helped him along the way.

Eventually, after being beaten and ravaged numerable times
by small mammals, Grinling decided to join the Razza Warriors
in order to specialize and train his skills.
It was there that he was introduced to Juggling, the skills
of the sword and knife, and other wonderful tools.
While he trained at Razza, Grinling would periodically
walk to Padorn to meet friends, or to perform in the Padorn Inn.

Most recently, Grinling decided to leave the Razza Warriors,
as they were only a guild of training. He found that he
needed like-minded individuals in order to challange his
skills. So, he decided to join the Moeth-Tortoise Bards.
He met a few Bards; Isamu, Castle, Parsivale and Squeak,
who spoke with him about the guild and eventually
set up a meeting with King Angborn. Grinling was
accepted into the guild, and now spends his time
perfecting songs and strengthening his act. You can usually
find Grinling somewhere on the main continent
playing a song in a pub, or training his weapon skills.
