After the ABS drill, we then had two "Hot Laps" with one of the two race drivers attending the testing for Toyota. The two cars used for this had the hardtop and the toyota MR2 promotional stickers all over it. They also had full racing harnesses installed in the car, I forgot to ask about any other mods but it looked mainly original configuration. I had Rick Bates drive me around for two laps at an absolute smoldering pace, let's just say you couldn't wipe the grin off my face afterwards. Rick Bates is an Australian Rally Car Driver and he was having plenty of fun with the car in the wet. |
