Drizabone, who along with artists such as Soul II Soul, Omar, The Young
Disciples and The Chimes, created a funky UK R&B scene in the early 90's
that helped lay the groundwork for much of what's going on today. With the
original Drizabone disbanded in 1995, the group's founder Vince Garcia put
the new look Driza together to record a new album. The affection for the
group is still such that the readers of the UKs black music bible Blues &
Soul voted Drizabone's 1994 debut album "Conspiracy" as Album Of The Decade. |
