Keyboardist James Taylor is the founding member of the James Taylor Quartet,
they released their first recording in 1985. They are one of the classic
and most respetable acid jazz band of the british scene. The main vocalists
of the band have been Alison Limerick and Noel McKoy. They recently released
their last album, "Room at the top", now with Yvonne Yaney on main vocals
and also Linda Muriel. The savory mix of funk, soul, jazz, and groove that
is brought to life by excellent arrangements, is still there. |
