SKEET AND TRAP RANGES
1. Shooting hours; Open to members daily, 9:AM to Sunset.
2. Clay birds and paper or cardboard targets ONLY!
3. Authorized firearms are; All types of centerfire and Blackpowder shotguns and handguns loaded with birdshot.
4. Shooting skeet or trap with ammunition containing shot larger than #7-1/2 is PROHIBITED!
5. Pattern testing of shotguns is permitted on a "Not To Interfere" basis. Maximum shot size is #2 lead or BB steel.
6. Firearms shall not be loaded until the shooter is on station.
7. Actions shall remain open when shooter is not on station.
8. All persons using the range shall clean up spent shotshells on completion of range activity. NO live or misfire ammunition of any kind shall be put in any trashcans. The shooter is responsible for defective ammunition and shall remove it from the range or placed in the red container at club.
9. Upon completion of range use, check to see if other members intend to use the range. If no further use is indicated, collect the sign in sheet with all money and deposit into the Clubhouse safe using the provided envelopes. Please date and sign the deposit.
10. The last member to use the range is RESPONSIBLE for money deposits and securing the ranges. If the member is unfamiliar with the appropriate procedures, ask a fellow member for assistance prior to completion of any range activity. DO NOT LEAVE MONEY UNATTENDED OR THE RANGE OPEN IF YOU ARE THE LAST USER!
11. If the user is unfamiliar with the operation of the trap or skeet machines, please ask for assistance from a fellow member. TURN OFF MOTOR AND MANUALLY RELEASE THE LAST BIRD!
12. The following are PROHIBITED on the skeet and trap ranges;
Use of rimfire rifles and handguns.
Use of Black Powder rifles and handguns.
Use of bottles, cans or racks as targets.
Use of any type of slugs (sabot).
