Winchester Amuuniton is recalling 5 lots of its Wildcat .22 caliber
Long Rifle, high velocity, rimfire ammunition as they may contain double charges of
powder. The lot numbers are:
You can find the lot number stamped in ink on the outside right tuck flap of the 50 round box. Winchester warns that this ammunition "may cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable and subject the shooter to risk of personal injury if fired".
If you have Wildcat ammunition bearing any one of the above-mentioned lot numbers, return it to Winchester via United Parcel Service (UPS). Securely pack the ammunition into a corrugated cardboard box, write "Cartridges, Small Arms ORM-D" on the outside of the box and ship to:

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Arctic Cat Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 15,500 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The pressure switch in the braking system leaks fluid. The unexpected loss of fluid can cause the brakes to fail, posing the risk of serious injury or death.
Arctic Cat has received four reports of problems with the pressure switches, including one consumer who suffered a dislocated shoulder and another who suffered bumps and bruises. The recalled ATVs come in red and green and have the brand name written on both sides of the ATV. The model names and numbers included in the recall are listed below:

Arctic Cat will help consumers determine if their ATV is part of this recall. Arctic Cat ATV dealers nationwide sold these ATVs from July 2001 through December 2001 for between $4,200 and $6,400.
Consumers should stop using these ATVs immediately. Registered owners of the recalled Arctic Cat ATV will be notified by mail, and also will be contacted by their dealer to schedule a free ATV repair. Consumers can contact their local ATV dealer to get more information about the recall. To locate their local dealer, consumers should call Arctic Cat ATV at (800) 279-9419 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday or log on to the company's website at www.artic-cat.com
