Intro
Close Quarter Battles are very dangerous, there will be campers, snipers and many other hazards that awaits you inside the buildings.
CQB is when you enter a building, there will then be no time for mistakes. The way that we use these tactics are to move in a pattern
that gives us the advantage at all times. All in the group have got a designated position which should be kept at all times, these are:
Point Man (PM), his job is to point out where the Tangos (Hostile Soldiers) are and to secure corners, this is a hazardous place to be
Because he will always be in the front. Officer In Command (OIC), he has to be aware where his team is at all times and is suppose to take
over for anyone who might fall, this requires a cool head and nerves of steal. Assault (A1), this is the one that should always be ready to rush
the tangos even when outnumbered, usually he will only have to keep an eye on the OIC and react to orders given by him. Rear Security(RS),
as the name says this soldier has to cover his mates backs, he will have no eye contact with the front unless the OIC sys so. Give this guy
a high velocity of rounds so he can push back those that attack from the rear while the front (PM,OIC,ASS) gets to cover.
Communication
Communication is a vital thing for a team to work. There are different forms of communication, the most used and most primitive is the
hand signals. This is an effective and silent way of contacting your team. We also use the hand signals at this point, but hope to buy some
tactical radios (TacRadios) at one point. If your team include a sniper it is almost impossible to keep in contact with him without radios.
When using hand signals, be sure that all in your team sees it, since it would be sad that you have just spotted a tango and one of your guys
runs right out into his arms. It is different from team to team which signals to use. Example: The PM has just spotted 3 tangos to his right, he
looks at his team and points 2 finger at his eyes (one on each), this sign is for "spotted". Then he takes 3 fingers and shows them to his team,
this is for "3 tangos". Then points his thumb to the right, this is for "to the right". This should take no more than 3 sec.
