Nick
Bejenaru, 2 times Romanian Olympic former and 3 times World Championships
former, with a bronze medal in 1995 Sabae, Japan. Nick has competed for 15 years
with the Romanian National Team and started coaching in 1991. He achieved level
3 NCCP certificate, provincial level 1 men's judge and attained a diploma from
the Romanian Coaching School. Nick coached the Romanian Juniors Team from
1997-2000. In September 2000 he moved to Canada. In 2002 he lead the Women's
Southwest Team to 2nd place at the Ontario Winter Games. In the past three years
athletes has placed in the top 3 at the Provincials or Elite Ontario, and in May
2005 his gymnast, PRE-NOVICE NATIONAL level, placed 1st on vault and 2nd on
floor at Eastern Canadian Championships.
But, just in case you think we are all about high performances athletes, I
still love to roll around on the floor with the parent and tot classes.
As a coach I enjoy the challenge of teaching gymnasts to attain their
personal best. I believe it is a creative process for both gymnast and coach;
that involve flexibility and communication.
Gymnastics isn't just about exercise; children learn many life skills through
their years in the gym. It is my goal to help your child or you achieve
confidence, discipline, physical fitness and a sense of accomplishment.
