Compositions
These are all my compositions! Although I've started late 'composing' *sounding special* these are the ones I enjoy listening to and need to get performed so I can enjoy them a bit more. For now they are MIDI :). Fun fact: These are ordered chronologically.
Read my good friend Harold Damo's reviews of these compositions (up to Majora). He is quite descriptive and abstract in it's reviews and they are quite excellent! Thanks alot Harold! (Download)
-I'm terrible at titles, or I just don't really bother. This piece was 'commissioned' by my High School Orchestra teacher when he said, "Now I want you to compose something original." So I came back with this and here it is... It's for strings and there is one part that I believe is awfully difficult for the celli (who I sympathize with, being a cellist). So when I hand out the parts someday I'll be sure to make that part more playable -although in the MIDI it's virtually impossible to tell... enjoy!
-Suddenly I felt the urge to compose and I came up with this piano piece. I think it sounds really dramatic and hope to hear it performed someday. During it's development I showed and had my Music Theory teacher in High School play and critique minor harmony discrepancies and some ideas. This for a change is actually longer than all my other compositions because I actually had the will to finish it and make it a full piece.
-Well, this piece was composed in 25min when I was bored one night and finally received a working monitor that wouldn't blank out ever 1.5 minutes. This piece is rather short and hopefully the title can attain a new meaning when it can become a sonata lasting 25 minutes. This piece is for piano :).
-Feeling creative one night I dragged my then 7 year old sister over to the computer and asked her to help me make a song. She came up with the title 'Beautiful Music of the Country' and actually picked the note durations of the first two measures for the flute. She picked the cello and piano too with my advisement. It's a bit short as well but I think sounds very RPG like as an ending or opening.
-This piece is pretty much finished and I was going for a gypsy feeling with the choice of scale and rhythms. I especially like the rhythms towards the end of the piece. This piece is for Violin, Viola, and Cello.
-This is one of my best compositions so far in my opinion. I especially like the melody and it's in one of my favorite keys: C minor. I hope you like it as much as many others do. This is for piano solo.
-This is my first attempt at composing a Fugue and I think it went over well. It may a bit difficult to play with all the running sixteenth notes in both hands but not nearly as difficult as some of the insane compositions by Liszt :). Written for piano.
-My first Waltz as I'm sure many of the different styles I'll attempt will be the first of. But this is also my first piece written in a Major key opposed to all the others written in minor. This can be a fun piece to play as well as challenging with my addition of some scalar passages. Also written for solo piano.
-This piece I believe is sounded better with a human mainly because of the Tempo Rubato of this piece. This is my longest composition and while at a loss for a name I decided to move the A in A Major (the key of the piece) to the end of the word 'Major'...I don't know if this song is completely done. I think there's still room for development after I get some outside opinions. Majora is written for solo piano.

-This currently contains the piano solo pieces: Appassionata, Composition, Fugue, Majora, and Waltz. They are in .MUS format and you'll need Finale Notepad (www.codamusic.com) to view them. Enjoy and I'll be changing some notation in the future so look for further updates.
