Pat is listed in the 1920 census of Meigs County as miller, owner/operator - this would be the Star Mill that he purchased from Mr. Rhoades that burned in the mid 1920's.

He was married to Lillian Mae Brinkman (daughter of Joseph Brinkman and Georghannah Coulson) on 17 Feb 1895 in Sterling, Arenac Co., Michigan. Lillian Mae Brinkman ⁽⁴⁹¹⁾ was born on 11 Mar 1878 in Bay City,, Michigan. She died on 18 Mar 1959 in Racine, Meigs, Ohio. She was buried in Letart Falls Cemetery, Meigs, Ohio. Lillian Mae Brinkman's Step Father was A. Maxon who ran the Farmers' Hotel in Standish, Michagan.

On a 1904 plat map of Deep River Twsp. Mrs. L. Simpson has a 35 acre plot in the SE corner of section 19 bordering Sterling, MI.
