ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Chad Mustard netted a team-high 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the University of North Dakota men’s basketball team past St. Cloud State 60-55 in a North Central Conference game Friday.

Kyle Behrens added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Sioux. Marcus Travis recorded seven points and three assists.

BJ Brant paced the Huskies with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Both teams shot poorly from the field. North Dakota made just 18 of 55 field goal attempts and St. Cloud State finished just 21 of 61 from the floor.

The difference came at the line, with North Dakota making 20 of 27 free throws compared to just 11 of 16 for St. Cloud State.

The Sioux improve to 14-3 on the season and will travel to Minnesota State-Mankato today.
