GRAND FORKS, ND — UND’s Becky Moen was named to the first team 2002 Daktronics Division II All-North Central Region women’s basketball squad today. The team was selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Moen, a junior forward from Morris, MN, was named the North Central Conference co-most valuable player, leading the league in scoring (23.3 points/game) and free throw percentage (.875) while finishing third in three-point field goals made (68) and steals (35). Moen set a new UND single-season scoring record this season with 636 points in 28 games (22.7 overall scoring mark).
UND junior center Jenny Boll (Crookston, MN) was named to the Daktronics All-North Central Region second team. Boll averaged 17.4 points and 7.5 rebounds for UND and was an all-conference selection.
