Sioux open 1998 with a 96-67 win over South Dakota

North Dakota led by Mandy Arndtson's 18 points and 3 steals defeated South Dakota 96-67 Friday night in NCC college women's basketball.

The Sioux (10-1, 2-0) jumped out to 23 point lead at halftime. Tiffany Pudenz, Kami Winger, and Jenny Crouse all scored 14 points for UND. Crouse also pulled down 10 rebounds.

South Dakota (4-8, 0-3) got 14 points each from Kelly Gese and Melissa Gehring.
