Last Action: Jenny Crouse had a school-record 26 rebounds
and added 25
points and UND picked up a 77-59 win over Augustana. Katie Richards
added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Crouse surpassed the 2,000-point
and
1,000-rebound marks in the game for her career.
UND had six players score in double figures as it rolled to a 108-77
win
over South Dakota State. The 108 points were the most allowed in SDSU
history. Richards led the way with 26 points. Crouse (17), Kami Winger
(16), Tonia Jones (15), Jenny Hoffner (13) and Jaime Pudenz (11) also
reached double figures. Pudenz had a career-high 12 assists.
Player of Week: For the fourth time this season, North Dakota
has a
player named NCC Player of the Week. Jenny Crouse was chosen on Jan.
18,
giving her two selections this season. She was also honored Jan. 4,
joining Pudenz (Dec. 21) and Richards (Dec. 14) as UND’s NCC
Players of
the Week this season. In her career Crouse has been named NCC Player
of
the Week 10 times (three times each as a freshman and sophomore, twice
as a junior and this season).
