Journal #3 A frightening situation that brought together two characters is evident in Tom Sawyer , both the movie and the book. When they go into the graveyard and see the grave robbing and the murder, and they have to go through being stalked and almost killed. This brought them together in a way that no one could understand. They were both going through the same thing and felt the same way and therefore they grew closer than they had ever been. Such is the same as with Kat and Paul.
