Individual coins are priced by size, from 75p for a 27mm (groat sized) coin, to 30p for a 10mm
(farthing sized) coin. Sizes vary according to period, later coins tended to be smaller, so if you are
looking for a coin from a particular period, we will sometimes quote the price by size, rather than type of coin. An “average” coin, the Saxon or early medieval penny, is sized at 19 - 20mm and costs 45p each. The final price you pay depends on how many you want, with a minimum cost of 30p for the penny if a large order of, say, 1000 or more coins in placed. As they are all hand-struck, the price reflects the work involved.

These are struck in sterling (925) or fine silver (950 parts per 1000). A penny-sized coin costs £5 for one, again size and quantity ordered will affect the price; this is an average to give you some idea of what is involved if you get all precious.

These are priced in the same way as ordinary coins, by size of the finished item and complexity of the design used. It is also cheaper to have just one side personalised, the other chosen from stock historical designs. There is a minimum order cost of £150, - of which £50 is the die cutting cost -and would provide about 200 pewter coins, or a mixture of pewter and silver coins (silver are charged at £5 each).
