| Song Background I was in a crazy Elliot Smith listening period at the time I wrote these words. There influenced from Elliots' Needle in the Hay in which he says Idiot Kid. From idiot kid I took the concept of parental liesand expaded how they lie about bedtime stories and Santa and Alice in Wonderland. I reference everything I could think of at the time. Orange Dandelions is the opening Jam to Idiot Kid. Again this song was a jam between Mario, Thomas and I (Brian.) It is also another song written in waltz timing which Elliot likes to use.
