Three Suns to the North I stole the sun with you in mind; I got so close it left me blind It burned my hands right to the bone, my blood it boiled my blood it flowed It shine like diamonds, inside my lungs It bends the colors, into one It burns my pupil’s, sucks them dry It holds the magic, of Northern lights My eyes they slumber feel so soar, I feel the thunder hear it roar I sleep for comfort search my soul; my heart is trapped inside these bones It shine like diamonds, inside my lungs It bends the colors, into one It burns my pupil’s, sucks them dry It holds the magic, of Northern lights She says we’re children of the universe Stranded as nothing on the Cellophane Earth She swears that she can hear the planets calling to her The constellations dance upon an infinite birth |
Song Background Three Suns is about two drugs (Acid and Tweak.) It fascinates me the damage something can do to you while still creating beauty. Meth crystallizes your lungs but when you say "It shine like diamonds, inside my lungs" it doesn't sound horrible. Well, everything in this song is about those two trips. The last four lines are tweaker rant ala Methamphetadreams. It starts as tweaker tempo and ends in acid head tempos. -Brian- |
