ORIENTED GROWTH of Squaraine dye onto aligned Polytetrafluoroethylene substrate

    Oriented growth of small molecules are studied for use in OFET etc. microelectronics devices.
    We are using three kinds of orienting substrates:
    Friction transferred PTFE                          (made in ICS, Strasbourg),
    vacuum deposited and rubbed PTFE film (made in ISP, Kyiv)
    submicron regular surface relief        (polycarbonate DVD disk).
    Oriented OH-Squaraine  films revealed SHG. Result of nonsymmetric packing of symmetric molecules.
