3. Expose for one stop less again.- Zone III -
4. Expose for one stop less again - Zone II -
5. Expose for one stop less again - Zone I -
6. Put Lens Cap on Camera and make an exposure - Zone 0
7. Expose 3 stops more than Zone V or Zone VIII at 400

Words and Pictures assignment ... By whatever process and technique you choose connect words and photographs. Keep in mind the work of Duane Michaels, John Heartfield, Barbara Kruger.Jenny Holzer. Inscribing Meaning: Writing and Graphic Systems in African Art. Fowler Mus. is an exhibition at the Fowler Museum that could give you insight into this assignment.
Assign - Architecture, may be combined with 4x5 team assignment.One possibity is the earth shell .... it's a difficult subject as you already know. Use your imagination and make a fine interpretive photograph of the structure. Think about time of day ... thing about direction of light. Make one image that includes a person.
Assign - Self Portrait
Assign - Portrait .... figure out what kind of portraits you really want to make and see what you can do. This assignment will take time so allocate as much time as you can free up. Try to determine what is a portrait. Who is in control of a portrait? What is it that a portrait can really communicate? Is a portrait posed ... or can it be candid? In your opinion which photographers have made the most interesting portraits? Why?
