2nd Year Class
Overview |
This program is designed to be a 2 year course to introduce 2nd - 6th grade students to the violin. Students will continue their progress on the violin. We will focus on note-reading as well as reinforcing basic playing skills. We will have performances during the year to celebrate our progress! At the end of the 2nd year, students are encouraged to continue studies with private lessons and/or joining the SLO County Youth Symphony. |

Home
Practice |
Please encourage your child to show you what he/she has learned in class and practice at home! I introduce skills and concepts during class time, but I expect the students to go home and put in their own time to develop and master the skills. It's more fun to play the violin when you practice and sound good! |
