First go to the original Golden Sun™ and go to the main menu. Hold L+R+Left+B for some seconds. The option 'Send' will now appear (Note: you can't get this until you have a cleared file).

Now, when you entered the 'Send' option you'll see two options again to transfer. The first one is 'Password' the other is 'Link Cable'. The first one is necessairy in case you don't have two Game Boy Advances™ or a Nintendo Link Cable™ to transmit your cleared file to Golden Sun™: Lost Age™.

When you entered the 'Password' option you'll encounter three medals: Gold, Silver and Bronze. If you choose Gold Password, then you get 6 screens fulfilled with characters necessairy to go further along with your quest. With Silver 2 pages and with Bronze only 1 page. The differences between these passwords are the fact that they store useful information.

When you choose the Gold Password, the game will remember the Levels, the Djinn, the Classes, the Items and the Coins. Silver will remember only the Levels, the Djinn and the Classes and Bronze will only store Levels and Djinn.

When you entered Gold, Silver or Bronze you'll see a load of characters, depending on what you've chosen. Go to Golden Sun™: Lost Age™ now and start a new file.

Note: don't worry about names. If you transmitted your old file to the new one, you still can rename Felix by what you want. The same is for Sheba, Jenna, Isaac, Garet, Ivan and Mia. Just use the 3X select code (see codes).

It will ask if you have a cleared file already.

Next follows the screen where you have to choose to transmit the cleared file by Password or by Link Cable. Go to Password.

It will ask for a Gold, Silver or Bronze Password now.

Just type now over your password and you're done! Make sure you made no errors!

You can also refresh your sent file when you played a while with Golden Sun™: Lost Age™. It depends on how far you are. If you NOT met Isaac and companions you are still able to refresh your sent file.

But if you don't want to use the passwords, and when you have 2 GBA's and a Link Cable it will be a lot faster ^_^. Advantage: pass along your quest without inserting 136 characters + everything is equipped already (with password, you have to equip everything again)
