2. Kandorean Temple


Go West when you exit Daila from the south, then follow your way to the Kandorean Temple. It shouldn't be that hard. You'll enter the Kandorean Temple during the meditation time, which means you won't gain access to the temple. At least, the monks will think. Pass west of the temple and you'll notice something in the ivy, like Kraden says. Use Sheba's whirlwind to blow the ivy away: it will reveal a staircase downstairs. Follow the stairs, walk trough the cave and climb up the rope. Now you're behind the walls of the temple and you should enter the cave. After a conversation with Master Poi and his monks, follow the monk who will enter the trials. Go immediatly west and follow your way behind the pillars until you reach a staircase. Ignore the staircase at the right of the screen: you'll walk trough there later. There is also a Mimic just straight on, if you want to battle it. A Mimic is just a fake treasure chest, for those who don't know. If you win the battle, you'll gain a Game Ticket (yay!)

Now, when you walked along the staircase, you should come in another room (duh!). Climb down the ladder and walk left. You'll notice the monk who went before you, but he's unconscious now. Find yourself away trough the pillars and climb up the ladder.Walk left and then jump on a pillar. Jump then right, down, right, up, right, up, left, left, up, right. Enter the door and follow your way on the left side. Then you should take a staircase down. Climb the ladder and continue to the south. Walk against the stream when it's possible and enter another staircase.

You come into a room with geysers. When you move the pillar on either one of the geysers, the other geyser will reach higher. Move your pillar on the left geyser, then you should gain a Mystery Card, to change your class. Move it on the right geyser and you can walk further. Climb the ladder and walk on the rope. Before walking on the other rope, you should walk north of the rope instead. Move the pillar with Felix' Move and move it in front of the steam. Now you should walk on the rope without having problems. Ignore the ladder, just walk on and leave the room. You come into another room with Fog, the Mercury Djinni, but you cannot reach him without Lash, so just walk further and further the stairs up and up. Now you come into a room with a hot boiling kettle. Move it by using Move. Before walking straight on, you should make yourself fighting ready, as you have to fight your first boss: the three Chestbeaters.

The Chestbeaters have 155 HP each and can only do fysical attacks as well as healing theirselves as well as each other. Their weakness is Fire, so use Jenna's Fume constantly. This shouldn't be a hard battle.
