Leave the shore and continue to the west. Behind a forest there is a cave with a tablet. Use Move on the pillar and Lash on the rope. Touch the tablet and now you can summon a new god: Zagan. In order to summon Zagan, standby 1 Mars and 1 Venus Djinni first. This summon deals with great damage, especially to enemies who are vulnerable to Fire. This summon might come in handy later.
Exit the cave and continue west again, until you see a bridge. Walk over it and walk across another bridge. You see now the town of Madra. Before entering town you should walk around in the forest. In a random battle, Iron the Venus Djinni will appear. Enter Madra now.

You'll learn Madra is attacked by pirates and fortunaly, the guards will let you in. Rest out in the inn and buy yourself some equipment. When you are on the roof of the Inn, walk along the rooftops in order to get the Nurse Cap, which comes in handy for in battle. In the shops you can get Leather Boots for 270 coins. You should buy at least 2 pairs, because you won't find any good boots until much later in the game.
Now, go to the prison, which is the house at the lowest level at the left. Piers, a Mercury Adept, seems to be locked-up innocent. As he gets annoyed of Shin, a guy whose lover (the Item Shopkeeper) has been attacked by the pirates of Champa, Piers freezes the puddle in front of the bars. Shin gets scared - so does his friend - and they will run away. Mind Read Piers now, in order to know more of him. Exit the jail and the lady of the village will give you permission to cross the Madra Drawbridge.
Go to the catacombs now. Use the stairs near the graveyards in the east of the village. Use the northern door and follow the path. When you come into ruins, climb the first vines you'll notice behind walls. Move the pillar back in position and walk into the house.
Go downstairs (you can't reach both staircases at the left until you have Reveal and Frost) and enter the door. You'll encounter a treasure chest with the Tremor Bit in it. Equip it, in order to use the psynergy of Tremor. Use retreat and exit Madra.
Cross the Drawbridge and the Osenia Cliffs. You can walk on the crashed pirate ship in order to get the Pirate's Sword (requires Lash first). When you are finally on Osenia, the enemies gets stronger again. Follow the path until you'll see Yampi Desert.
