Short Answer Feedback Template


This template is based on a JavaScript Script by Douglas Mills and content by Ann Salzmann (see the full version at http://deil.lang.uiuc.edu/class.pages/structure1/mini_quiz1a.html) It features delayed short answer feedback through the use of image-changing (if you want to copy and use the script, be sure to get the images too or provide your own. Note though that you need a blank image the same size as the others to hold the image place...) The answer-judging routine strips leading and trailing spaces from the student's answers and, if desired (as is the case here) can ignore capitalization. Questions which have not been answered are not corrected.

Additionally, this script might be of interest for the way that it weeds out incompatible browsers (namely non-JavaScript browsers and Netscape 2 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3...

I. Add -s, -ed, and -ing to the following verbs: (THEY ARE ALL REGULAR VERBS):
