GSGS Employee Survey Results




Training and Career Development is rated 9th out of the
11 categories with 19.95% agreement across respondents.

The key view seems to be that while there is supervisor support
and opportunities for development available (#93, #13),
the constraints of the job itself limit "job critical" development
(comments). Opportunities for learning are seen as possible
but mainly outside the boundaries of the job.

Views on job-related training are mixed with moderate agreement
about receiving sufficient systems and new employee training
(#61, #78).

There is also concern that supervisors are not promoting the issue
of career development as indicated by the low ratings on (#80) which
addresses career development discussions.
