To earn this Try-It, we tried different ways to show someone that we care about them.
We made a Friend Bcrapbook. Everyone had a page to list their favorite things. (You can view our scrapbook online.)
We drew for Secret Pals and brought them a few small gifts to surprise them with at meetings. Each of us also bought a stuffed bear and made a special outfit for it. At our Christmas party, we revealed our Secret Pals and gave them the dressed-up bear.
We talked about things that made us happy and things that made us sad. We also role-played what we could do and say to cheer up a friend who was sad.
