Here are some shots of the interior. You can see the GT40 dash with the VDO guages and the short throw shifter.  Notice also the brass grometts in the seats, just like the real thing.
Here is a shot of the V8 installation and the exhaust routing. Most of the hoses are covered in steel braid and use anodized clamp covers to give it a racecar look. On the left picture you can see that the temporary intake stack I was using to give the aircleaner the required clearance. On the left I've got the stainless steel airbox I used to raise and offset the aircleaner so that it will poke out of the center of the rear deck cover. I did this because the engine is not centered in the bay and the aircleaner would have been about 4 inches off of center. The picture below shows the aircleaner orientation. In an actual GT40 the V8 sits longitudinally in front of the transmission. In my car I kept the transverse arrangment to mate the engine to the Getrag 5 speed transaxle.
The aircleaner pokes up in the center of the rear deck where it can get cooler clean air coming in from the functional side scoops. If you look closely you can see the triangular holes cut into the sides of the engine cover that match up the the side scoops.
Above are the aluminum cradle mounts and also visible is the right rear coilover. To the right is a picture of the tubular front suspension and coilover shock. You can also see the poly bushings on the a-arms and the sway bar. All of this adds up to one really tight controlled ride.
