WHAT YOU NEED: 1. First of all you're gonna need Gta3 Resource Hacker (you can get this on my tools page) 2. You're also gonna need an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Paintshop Pro, or just Microsoft Paint (contact me and I might just be able to hook you up with one of the the nicer programs out there ;) 3. Lots of patience for testing your work MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE STARTING THE MODDING TO CREATE PLAYER SKINS: 1. Go to /gta3/skins 2. There you will see your current player skins, you can either edit these or create your own 3. Make your skins and then make sure to save them as Bitmap images 4. Start Gta3 and then go to player skins and you will see the new player skin you made, select it, and your done! TO EDIT CAR STATS: 1. The easiest way to edit car stats in Gta3 is to download the Cat Stat Editor available in my tools section 2. Open thee program and read the readme, its all fairly self explanatory anyway. |
