She married José Perfecto Chaves in Nuestra Señora de Belen Catholic, Belen, Valencia County, New Mexico, November 3, 1876.⁽¹⁷⁰⁾ José was born in New Mexico April 17, 1851.⁽¹⁷¹⁾ José⁽¹⁷²⁾ was the son of José Mariano Chaves and María Irinea Chaves. José died about 1924.⁽¹⁷³⁾ He was baptized in Nuestra Señora de Belen, Belen, Valencia County, New Mexico, on April 20, 1851.
