73. Maria Carlota Epimenia⁵ Garcia (Francisco⁶, Braula⁷)⁽⁵⁵¹⁾ was born in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico September 1846.⁽⁵⁵²⁾

She married Candelario Lobato. (Additional notes for Candelario Lobato⁽⁵⁵³⁾) Candelario became the father of Cleofas Lobato in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, 1873.⁽⁵⁵⁴⁾ (See Candelario Lobato for the children resulting from this marriage.)

At 26 years of age Maria became the mother of Cleofas Lobato in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, 1873.⁽⁵⁵⁵⁾ Alfred Chaves remembers that Carlota Garcia had a house on 14th Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The house was very dark inside. The house is still located on 14th Street, just two houses south of Lomas. Alfred remembers Carlota giving bisquits to all the kids. She was called "La Madrena". She was Salomon Chaves Mirabal's godmother.
